Thar He Blows: A White Orca!
Courtesy of Animal Planet, this is a rare site: an all white male killer what that was spotted off the coast of Kamchatka in Eastern Russia. The whale's name is appropriately Iceberg and he is estimated to be about 16 years old, based on the size of his dorsal fin. In the second clip he is seen cavorting with the rest of the members of his pod, who appear to have accepted him, in spite of his unusual appearance.
Only two other rare white orcas have ever been filmed in the wild before and those presumably did not survive into adulthood.
