Settling In
I know its sad that this little girl is in a Zoo, but consider the alternative. The orphaned polar bear cub was found wandering alone near the Manitoba airport in Canada. Officials from the Polar Bear Sanctuary at the Assiniboine Park Zoo in Canada rescued the she bear and recently introduced her to her new quarters. She needs to be quarantined for a few months before being introduced to the other bears, and I'd say she needs a bigger pool, but for the moment, she looks pretty content.
