Not that I am endorsing any brand of commercial dog food (although Millie does eat Purina Pro Plan Focus), but I do wish I had had a specially formulated geriatric food for Amos when he was in his declining stages. I ended up cooking for him, which he sometimes ate, or sometimes didn't but the trick was to get the nutrients found in dog food into him--which was a challenge.

I truly do believe there is a market for geriatric dog food since our pets are living longer. And at the end, I was willing to try anything.
