World Dog Population

I know the video above is a bit long, but the topic of controlling dog population for public health is a world wide concern, especially in developing countries. My former Penn advisor, Dr. James Serpell recently participated in a world wide meeting of multi-disciplinary experts to discuss this issue and formulate a plan for different cultures, and I found this video fascinating.

Certainly the topic remains relevant in the US where overcrowded shelters bear witness to all sorts of diseases that have the potential to impact public health.
