Why Did the Elephant Seal Cross the Road?
This massive elephant seal waddled out of the Atlantic Ocean on Saturday and decided to cross the road, in a pedestrian crosswalk. This all happened in the coastal city of Balneario Camboriu in Brazil and yes, the seal eventually made it safely across. Firefighters and police splashed and sprayed water on the seal to keep it hydrated as it stopped traffic for an hour!
Best of all, we'll never know why or what inspired this crossing!
