Shrek

By now, you have probably hard about Shrek, the maltese poodle who found his way to the backyard of a veterinarian in Canada. The dog was so covered in matted hair, the vet's husband thought he was a piece of rotten carpet. Underneath all that hair (3.5 pounds of it) was a pup who had never had human contact. He is now thriving in the home of his rescuers and "restoring their faith in humanity."
