A Tribute to My Beautiful Bhodi In Hopes of Helping Other Dogs...

In Memory of My Loyal and Loving Golden Retriever "Bhodi" ... A Story About His Courageous Fight to Beat A Terrible Cancer...and the Wonderful Work Researchers at Penn Vet are Doing to Prolong the Lives of Dogs with Hemangiosarcoma. Bhodi refused to give up, always bouncing back after every treatment. He lived for almost 6 weeks after being diagnosed, and I believe He "Hung In There" for ME. That's was How Strong our Bond was. He died at 8 years old, but the work being done at Penn Vet Offers Incredible Hope for other Dogs with Hemangiosarcoma.Sadly, Bhodi was not eligible for the Research Project because all the dogs in the study have had their spleen removed, and the surgery was way too risky for him. I think he's Wagging his Tail in Heaven though, at the success other dogs are seeing.
