Nicanor Races Tomorrow at Keeneland

Nicanor has drawn the #1 post position for Race #8 at Keeneland on Friday--tomorrow to be exact! It is an interesting choice since it is a 7 furlong distance on the Tapeta track. I don't remember Nick running 7 furlongs except as a there year old very early in his career so I wonder if this is the only race that seems to fit his present needs. It is his first race back after a length layoff so perhaps 7 furlongs is all he is up for.

In any event, the race looks pretty tough with Hoofit (#3) being a strong contender, but then they are all tough challengers.

I understand that TVG will be carrying the races from Keeneland if you are a subscriber. Otherwise, you'll just have to wait for the replay on Equibase (again, need to be a subscriber) or You Tube, eventually.
